How did the ULTIMATE PERENNIAL PLANT EXCHANGE begin ?
In thinking about my personal horticultural journey, I think about the perennials I have in my collection that I treasure the most. Which ones are those ? Many of those are not perennials that I purchased at a local greenhouse or garden Center. They are perennials that I obtained from other like minded enthusiasts.

That was my inspiration in starting this group and this event. To create for myself and others, an opportunity to come together and share. But, not just plant material ! Enthusiasts like myself have the quality of wanting to share and learn. To share knowledge, experience, insights and more. This group encourages that and provides an opportunity for all to come together and talk about plants.

I frequently mention the fact that I grow many unique, uncommon and unusual perennials. In fact I grow more than 250 different varieties of perennials, not all are uncommon, I do have some very common ones, also. Some of these will not typically be found at any of the local greenhouses or garden centers. There are several other enthusiasts that attend this event, that are like minded.
